Implementation of the EU Project
The SPECODLEW Enterprise of Foundry Innovation Ltd. implements a project co-financed under the Smart Growth Operational Programme, 2014-2020, Measure 1.1 “R & D projects of enterprises”, Sub-measure 1.1.1 “Industrial research and development works implemented by enterprises”. The title of the project is as follows:
“Development and implementation of an innovative technology for casting from Fe-based materials thin-walled products characterized by high dimensional accuracy and increased durability dedicated to the armaments and automotive industries”.
The aim of the project is to develop and implement for the Company’s own business needs an innovative technology for precision casting and heat treatment of thin-walled iron alloy products characterized by high dimensional accuracy and increased durability.
The development and implementation of innovative technology will result in the manufacture of castings from nano – bainitic steel characterized by a favourable combination of strength and plastic properties, which allows this type of steel to be used for parts of complicated shapes operating under the conditions of a variable state of stress causing their damage.
