Investment casting
Castings in the investment foundry are made by the lost wax process. Currently, the Company has the largest production capabilities in Poland and is fully prepared for comprehensive problem solving from casting design to the ready-for-use component. Castings made by this method are characterized by high dimensional accuracy comprised in CT5 tolerance range and by high surface quality.
It is possible to make castings with complex shapes and different wall thicknesses in the weight range from 0.001kg to 15kg. Investment castings are produced as single parts and in large series of tens of thousands of pieces, depending on the Customer’s needs. Tooling, i.e. dies for the production of wax patterns, is made within the Company’s own capacity using own machining centre. The foundry has two autoclaves to melt out the wax from moulds. Drying of ceramic moulds takes place in a computer-controlled dryer with the possibility of setting the drying parameters.
Four induction furnaces of 150 kg capacity are used for pouring of moulds baked in tunnel kilns.
